INVESTIGATION RESULTS OF

LYMPNE CASTLE

LYMPNE, KENT ON APRIL 23RD 2010

What secrets Lympne Castle holds within those walls of days gone by...throughout the passage of time. Layer upon layer of history!

The night prior to the investigation our mediums sat down to `Remote View`, miles away from the castle itself. Our mediums, it should be said, are very careful not to find out any information of the venue they will be going to so that their impressions are not influenced. Linking into the energies of the castle images and words started to form...Peter...Hercmonceaux...Enigma Machine...Military nurses with red crosses on their hats...shields and coats of arms...the list soon came flooding through. The Second World War soon became a prominent theme, with images of men recuperating in the grounds of the castle, some in wheelchairs and wearing bandages. Tudor connections started to waft through with Mary Queen of Scots, Henry VIII hunting lodge, Anne of Cleve's, and then this faded into seeing green lights darting around the castle, a child crying for her lost mother, masonry coming through the floor and killing a man, The Tower of London, William Hurst, muskets, flintlocks, Rosemary a Catholic sister, an issue with a widow, suicide, suffocation, mass murder. Then appeared the date of 1874, Herbert Newcroft...who dropped like a lightning strike to the heart, Ruby who helped nurse the fallen, a cryptic `strength of nine`, plans of military battle, the area of Fenchurch, Philip of Spain, Civil uprisings, Betty a housemaid, Bonnie Prince Charlie, smugglers and contraband, the name of Delaney, a stable boy who was 16 years old named Jamie Ludlum, Anne Bernard, a woman standing in a large bay window looking out for people, the message that the castle wanted us to be there as spirits wanted the opportunity to speak us, Sir Henry Hercmonceaux, and activity in the Garden.

Hours before the investigation began our mediums completed a walk around of the castle tuning in to the energies that resided there. Further impressions of the Second World War, and the Great War were picked up when the residual energy of a Great War nurse was seen at a sink, washing bandages, and wearing long floor length aprons. Michael and Gill knew they were being watched and peered at from every corner. Spirits from all ages were seen, a lady wearing a long beautiful dress with ringlets in her hair looking out of a window, a centurion marching, and countless military officers going around their business in the various rooms. The tech team reeled out wires and cables, covering the rooms of the castle and set up cameras, screens and infrared recording devices in the East Tower of the castle.

After a meditation, protection exercise our guest investigators joined with the team to explore the castle. Many saw light anomalies flying by, pin point spots of icy cold air were experienced, tobacco smoke was detested by several people at once, feelings that could`t be described as anything other than `weird` by the groups. Many experienced a lady figure in the back rooms and was alerted to by one of of the team`s developing psychics. All could feel her energy by cold / warm spots, a spongy resistance to where she stood or a tingly feeling in their hands. This lady worked with the group and was lighting up lights on a K2 meter in answer to questions. Most experienced swaying with the draw of energy from the lady. Saddle soap was detected in the East Tower and here too nearly all felt racing hearts, vertigo and many light anomalies caught on camera and on screen.

Automatic writing experiment undertaken by Gill`s Team revealed some interesting results. The first was Edith. and then Monceaux recorded by one of the guest investigators. Could this have been connected with Hercmonceaux Castle picked up by Michael in the remote viewing the day before? Edith, we were to later find, is the name of one of the investigator`s Mother-in-law, who had passed away recently and the family were planning to scatter the ashes very soon.

Table tipping: and the evening`s activities were to begin in a major way. At first two table tipping sessions were begun at the same time , one in the East Tower and one in the Grand Hall, below. However although energies were building quickly in the Grand Hall some of the investigators began to feel ill and one became very ill resulting in the abandonment of that table tipping. At the same time The tower table tipping was building in energy extremely fast...inititaly with an immense feeling of sadness that caused one of this group to burst inti tears. without much result. Temperature fluctuations were beginning to become prominent with one side of the table becoming icy cold and the other side very warm. To increase the energies, Michael one of the mediums asked everyone to form a double circle, and after a while the table began to shudder and twist. As Michael asked questions Peter came through with an electric amount of energy. The table started to vigorously spin clockwise or anti clockwise for `Yes` and `No` answers to each question. With the help of a member of the TA at the table, it was found that Pater was a sentry stationed at the tower in WW2. He became ill as his colleagues were sent to Diep and he was left behind. At the age of 23 he was heartbroken when his friends and colleagues didn't return from that fateful battle. Peter wanted forgiveness for remain alive after them, he wanted to continue to do his job, and he also felt lost and lonely. As questions were asked of Peter, the table movements reflected his emotions moving slowly for sadness and quickly for enthusiasm. The excitement of the group was also building as while Peter spoke very large orbs were seen to be flying all around us, and in the adjoining room. Peter`s energy became stronger and stronger heightening his ability to communicate. at some points the three legged table was spinning at such a rate it knocked people to the ground, or pushed them into the walls. The table transported itself from one side of the room to the other and tipped from side to side in an attempt to move itself up three steps to the next room. Then, moving back to the center of the room we asked Peter if he was loyal to his country. The table stopped moving abruptly for a few moments and suddenly felt electrified. The group waiting with expectation, the table slowly moved up on tow legs, then one and held position steadily for a few moments. Then all of a sudden the table slowly laid itself down on its side, releasing from our hands, and launched like a rocket on its own across the room leaving people in a heap on the floor. Peter clearly was not happy. After calming Peter down he asked us to remember him to his family in Vancouver through communicating during the first séance down stairs whilst live on radio on the Fearless Ghost Hunter Radio Show in the USA. Peter continually spelt out `PATRICIA` and wanted the message passed to his sister. Some research has been offered to us that confirms there was a Princess Patricia`s Canadian Light Infantry based at the castle.

During the evening our Technical team had set up several locked off night vision cameras in many areas including a CCTV night vision cameras in a room in the East Tower where many people completed lone vigils. This produced some amazing results where light anomalies were seen with the naked eye and caught on masses on recording CCTV camera. Even explaining much away as dust there were a significant amount of strong orbs that flew through the door and split into three, danced in front of us, and a special part of the evidence spirit was attempting to provide us was that they moved upon request, each and every time. It felt so much like they were happy to see us there! First seen by Gary (one of our techs) and Michael and then eventually all of our investigators at different times whilst temperature fluctuations were recorded dramatically falling from 13 to 5 to 0 and then up to 8 degrees in minutes, light anomalies on the digital stills camera and high readings on EMF and K2 meters.

Our Mediums have said �Peter really wanted to be heard that night and was delighted to work through us all, the energy in that room was electric. We had light anomalies flying very fast in different directions & spinning around, all caught on camera! The table, at one stage, carefully tipped itself down and then shot across the room, knocking people from their feet! Anthony, who was on the table, was before that night was a total sceptic and is now like many others ... a total believer! How could you be a sceptic after seeing what we all witnessed there? People were feeling sick. One poor girl actually vomited. There were feelings of tearfulness, uncontrollable shaking, and icy cold and warm spots plus there were all sorts of emotions being felt too!�
